Diversity is one of the hallmarks of our congregation. We have ministries that touch every age including different adult ministries like Men’s, Women’s and Seniors. At the heart of each group is a clear call to serve one another and assist you as you seek to connect to God, others and destiny. Girlfriend Connect

Girlfriend Connect women’s ministry exists to bring together and minister to all women of the Connection from 5 to 105 years old. Whether you’ve just accepted Jesus into your life or you’ve been serving God for years.

Whether you’re a daughter, mom or a grandma, we all face struggles and tough decisions, from “Where do I go from here? What does God have for me? What are my gifts, and where do I start?” Or have you ever needed a recipe? Or better yet, just needed someone there?

As we get together, through the various activities here at The Connection at one of our brunches w/ special speakers, weekly bible studies, our different exercise classes, or getting together over “scrap happy” (scrap-booking), or even our annual Women’s Retreat, and Season Spectacular, and Cookie Exchange we are able to make connections with each other. We are able to learn about one another, share our struggles, strengthen, encourage, and most of all pray for each other.

Galatians’ 6:2 says “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

John 13:34-35 says “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love another”

Titus 2:3-4 says “Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers, or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children.”

Men’s Ministry

Men’s Ministry Team exists to build up men in their walk with Christ through consistent study of the scriptures, prayer, worship and fellowship. We work to develop men who love God, their family, the Church and the lost. We train men to demonstrate and share their faith in the community and the world through outreach programs and projects.

Men’s Team vision is to train and equip the men of the assembly to be established and steadfast in Christ and to complete the good works that God has prepared for us in advance.

Eph 2:10 God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus he has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do. (GNB)

We encourage men to join together and be involved in a variety of spiritual developments and outreach ministries which are offered here at The Connection. This would include Men’s Bible study, community service, congregational care and outreach both locally and in Mexico.

Prime Timers

For Seniors 55+

Team Leaders: Dick and Evelyn Ford

The Prime-Time Seniors meet monthly (as well as various other times) for fellowship, prayer and various events and outings. Through contact, prayer, and visitation we encourage and minister to Seniors. The Seniors minister to other groups such as Rapid Deployment Kits to military; we support one Tecate orphan; we collect supplies, food & clothes, for the San Diego Rescue Mission. We also go on short outings in the county, and have a weekly Connect group during the day where we minister to one another and get to know each other. Please come and join us as we connect to God, Others and Destiny.
