Children

Here at the Connection Church, Children are a top priority. From newborns to 12 years of age these young ones will have Opportunity to hear the Good News of God’s love through His Son Jesus. Our classes are equipped with loving mature volunteers. We endeavor to create an exciting, fun, creative atmosphere for youngsters to thrive in their faith.

Under Two Room

This classroom is for babies ages 2 years and under. This class provides a loving safe environment for babies to play, rest, have Bible stories read to them, sing songs, and have a healthy snack.

Toddler’s Safari Connection

This classroom is for toddlers 2 to 3 years old. Our Safari Connection is like entering a world of adventure. Take a climb in the Safari jeep . . Sit on a wild animal chair, learn exciting Bible lessons, and enjoy arts and crafts. Toddlers get to visit the outdoor playground and sandbox. We always include a healthy snack to top off the morning.

S.S. Connection Preschool

This classroom is for preschoolers ages 4 and 5. Preschoolers will set sail in a land of wonder on the S.S. Connection Schooner equipped with a rope ladder and six-foot slide. Learning God’s word and being introduced to having a heart of worship is a priority for the preschoolers. The fun includes art activities, puppet shows, outdoor plays and a healthy snack.

Kid’s Connection

This class is for children ages 6 to 12. Kid’s Connection is a place for children to make lasting friendships with their peers. Children are taught power packed lessons from God’s word to equip them to live victorious lives. The class provides games, arts and crafts, outreach through drama presentations, outdoor play, training on how to serve in the Congregation, and a healthy snack.

Girls Ministries

National Girls Ministries is a tool used by the local church to introduce girls to Jesus Christ and to train them to follow Him. It is a place for girls in the church to invite their friends to meet Jesus, gather with other girls who love God, and be mentored by a sponsor who cares about them. National Girls Ministries, formerly Missionettes, was founded in 1956 and is based on the Titus 2 principal of women mentoring girls.

Our program begins with 1st-2nd grade (Prims) and continues with 3rd-5th grade (Stars). We meet every Sunday evening. See below for times and events.

Royal Rangers

Royal Rangers is a scouting program that focuses on reaching, teaching and keeping boys for Christ. We do this by providing for boys physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. This is done through crafts, games, Bible studies, and a camping program.

The program has four age groups:

	Ranger Kids—the trail to fun and adventure—is an exciting program for boys in kindergarten, first and second grades. Boys in this age group participate in great fun and excitement that will allow boys to develop their interests and needs as well as mold their character.
	Discovery Rangers is a fun and exciting program for boys in third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade. Not only does the boy get to discover great indoor and outdoor activities, he will get to make many new friends. Being a Discovery Ranger is another step toward growing into a man of God.
	As Adventure Rangers, sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade young men have the chance to do as the great adventurers from past, like Christopher Columbus or Jedidiah Strong Smith. A Ranger is one who explores new frontiers, so the Adventure Ranger will explore new areas as he learns the history of Royal Rangers and takes advantage of opportunities for the future.
	Expedition Rangers is the exciting ministry for older youth. It has four primary categories:Achievement through the advancement system to continue to earn awards, Leadershiptraining skills through junior camps and working in Royal Rangers and Youth ministries,Service through a variety of ministry opportunities, and Activities through high action activities that challenge youth with adventure.
