Worship

There is nothing like touching heaven…entering into the very presence of God through worship and praise with a group of people who are abandoned and committed to their Savior. Since the very beginning of our church in 1988, we have felt the extreme value and privilege of honoring our Lord through our extravagant worship.

We realize that its not just singing a few Christian songs to pass the time, but rather entering into the spirit realm through song where faith and hope rise, where doubts and fears cease and victory and peace begin to reign in each heart. It is a time where anything can happen, miracles and healing take place, broken hearts are mended, salvation can find its way to a lost soul who finally can see the beauty and grace of sins washed away, and new freedom arises. It is a time where prophetic stirrings take place and visions are received, where words of comfort can revive parched ground and fill the desert as it were, with blossoms of new life, where tears of joy and shouts of praise ring out to remove hidden chains and bonds that prey on our lives.

That is the power of worship at its best and that is why we give it place and value in our services. We seek to provide skillful musicians with a heart ignited by the fire of the Holy Spirit, serving our awesome God in humility, the honor of bringing us into His presence.

If you have a gift musically and want to serve God through worship, please let us know…young and old serving together…there is always room to expand and welcome new giftings in our midst. Whether it’s vocally, instrumentally, running the sound system or power point, we function as a team and need one another to bring forth the powerful end result. And if you’re not especially gifted musically…we invite you to make a joyful noise unto the Lord…enter in with the congregation as we sing, dance, praise, fall on our knees, and ultimately worship as David did….abandoned to His God.
